What is an "Inspired by" fragrance?

Our fragrances are crafted to capture the feeling and scent style of iconic fragrance families, while remaining uniquely Luxx Alchemy.

Using premium ingredients and our own independent formulations, we create familiar luxury-inspired scents designed for exceptional longevity and everyday wear — all without the luxury price tag.

How Long Does the Fragrance Last?

We use the highest concentration of fragrance—30%, known as extrait de parfum. This strong concentration ensures that the scent lasts much longer compared to other brands. Our goal is to provide you with a luxury fragrance experience so you can expect the scent to linger on your skin for 8 hours or days on clothes delivering long lasting power and richness. 

What Are Your Shipping Times and Cost?

Shipping within Australia is $10 for standard (3–10 business days) or $15 for express (2–3 business days). Orders are generally dispatched the same day. Plus, when you buy 3 or more items, you’ll receive free standard shipping automatically!

Why Do Some Scents Last Longer than Others?

The lasting power of a fragrance can vary depending on its composition, concentration of notes, and even factors such as skin type, climate, and application method. While many of our perfumes offer long-lasting performance, some scents may naturally fade sooner than others due to their unique make-up.

Why Are Your Perfumes so Affordable? Do You Use The Same Quality Ingredients as Designer Brands?

At Luxx Alchemy, we focus on what truly matters: crafting premium-quality fragrances without the unnecessary extras like retail markups, expensive advertising, or celebrity endorsements. Our perfumes are created with the same attention to detail and high-quality ingredients as designer brands, delivering the luxurious scents you love at a fraction of the price. This allows you to indulge in a truly exquisite fragrance experience without the inflated cost.

Are your Products Cruelty Free?

How Do I Return It If I Am Not Satisfied?

Easy, just email us your order details to hello@luxxalchemy.com and we will organise the return to us no questions asked. Please note during heavy promotional sale periods like Black Friday & Boxing Day, we are unable to offer returns. Refer to our return policy page for more info.

What Sizes are your bottles?

Both our bottles are 50ML Glass bottles, providing around 450 sprays! If that's too bulky for your bag or backpack, grab the 5ML refillable travel atomizer aswell to keep your fragrance fresh on the go!

Will this fragrance feel familiar if I love luxury perfumes?

Yes our fragrances are designed to evoke the style, mood, and scent character of iconic fragrance families.

 

While each Luxx Alchemy scent is independently formulated and uniquely our own, many customers find the overall experience beautifully familiar.

Do you let your fragrances macerate?

Yes- all Luxx Alchemy fragrances are left to macerate for at least 4 weeks before bottling. This process allows the scent to deepen and develop its full character, ensuring a smoother, longer-lasting fragrance experience.During busier periods, such as launches or sales, the maceration period may occasionally be slightly shorter. If you notice a stronger alcohol scent when you first spray your perfume, this is completely normal — we recommend letting it dry down on your skin for a few moments to experience the true scent as it settles.

What happens if my parcel is marked as delivered but I haven’t received it?

If your tracking shows as delivered but you cannot locate your parcel, we recommend checking around your property for any safe drop locations, with household members or neighbours, and contacting Australia Post directly with your tracking number.

Please note that once a parcel has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier and delivery confirmation has been provided, Luxx Alchemy is not liable for lost, stolen, or missing parcels. However, we will always do our best to assist customers by raising enquiries with the carrier where possible.

For additional peace of mind, we also offer a Signature on Delivery upgrade at checkout to help ensure parcels are handed directly to the recipient rather than left unattended.

Why did one of my fragrances not come wrapped in plastic?

Our limited edition range does not come wrapped in plastic. Because only 100 bottles of each limited scent are produced, these are hand-finished rather than processed through our factory line.This means they don’t require plastic wrapping — instead, they’re carefully packaged and boxed to ensure they arrive safely and beautifully presented. We also choose this approach to reduce unnecessary plastic waste while keeping the same premium quality you expect from Luxx Alchemy.

What If I experience irritation & sensitivity?

Our perfumes are made with cosmetic-grade, skin-safe ingredients and tested for quality. However, because individual sensitivities vary, we recommend performing a patch test before full use, especially if you have sensitive skin or allergies. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.

Are your prices in AUD?

Yes as we are local Melbourne business all our prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD). 

Do you have a store we can visit?

Not just yet — we’re currently online only. This allows us to keep prices low while still delivering luxury-quality scents without the retail markup.

Why dont you have my scent?

We intentionally keep our range curated rather than stocking hundreds of fragrances. Every scent we release must meet our strict 95% accuracy standard before it makes it into the collection.

 

Unlike some inspired fragrance houses that focus on volume, we prioritise quality, performance, and scent accuracy over having the biggest range. If a fragrance doesn’t meet our standard, we simply won’t release it.

Why Does My Box Look Different?

We’re in the process of rolling out our new premium packaging.

Some orders will still arrive in our original boxes while we complete the transition.

No matter the box — you’re getting the same high-performance fragrance inside.

How do I Click & Collect?

Orders placed with local pickup can be collected from our warehouse, located inside the Clik Collective building in West Footscray. 

Address- 40 Robbs Road West Footcray 3012 VIC.

Pickup hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM Pickups are not available on weekends or public holidays.
